What I DON'T miss about competing:

I really miss my sport as I know it. So much greatness can come out of preparing for one day.

...the look of the "finished product" just before you step on stage...
...all the anticipation of the big day...
...seeing all your friends and "bodybuilding family"...
...making new friends...
...the thrill of the competition...
...the magic of the night show...
...the pride in knowing what it took to get there...

AND SO MUCH MORE!!!

As I sat today thinking of all the awesomeness that comes with being a Figure girl, I started to think about all the pain in the ass stuff as well. It helped me cope with being out of the game this year.

Let me share with you the things I DO NOT MISS about competing:

*16 weeks of hard dieting
*the physical and emotional pain that comes with carb depletion while PMS-ing
*fake eyelashes
*thick makeup
*Pro Tan
*Jan Tana
*walking around the house for days with arms out not being able to touch walls or furniture
*being stained and blotchy from said Pro Tan and Jan Tana for weeks
*smelling like Preparation H for 5 days
*being at the gym at 3:00AM for an hour of cardio knowing you have to be back at 5pm for a full workout and another hour of cardio
*evening cardio
*did I mention cardio?
*gluing my suit to my ass and tits
*ripping my suit off of my ass and tits
*pigging out after night show and being bloated for 3 days
*boiled turkey and steamed asparagus for breakfast
*boiled turkey and steamed broccoli for morning snack
*boiled turkey and steamed asparagus for lunch
*boiled turkey for afternoon snack
*boiled turkey and steamed asparagus for dinner
*morning asparagus piss
*POLITICS

...and the thing that I miss LEAST about competing:

HELL WEEK!!!
